Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Revival Worship Centre based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existing "I AM" , the Creator of the Universe and the Redeemer of mankind. God has further revealed himself as a triune being, manifested as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. ( Isa 48:16, Matt 28:10, Luke 3:22).
The Scripture Inspired
The Scripture, both Old and New Testaments, are Inspired of God and are the Revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (2Tim 3/;15-17, 1Thes 2:13 & 2Peter 1:21)
The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God and as such, shares in the Divinity and Deity of God. ( Matt 1:23, John 1:1, 5:22, 23 , Heb 1:1-13).
The Deity of Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Comforter sent by the Father by the prayer of Jesus and who shares in the Divinity and Deity of God. ( Ps 139:7 - 10, Luke 1:35)
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
The Church
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ressurection
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
